Help Ace the dog give his pet friends a new home with Solitaire Pets Adventure, a unique and challenging take on the traditional Klondike solitaire game!
The basics
In Klondike solitaire, the object of the game is to organize all of the cards by suit in numerical order, starting with Aces and ending with Kings. The four piles are sometimes called “foundation piles” but in Solitaire Pets Adventure, we refer to the foundation piles as the “base”.
When a game is dealt, there will be seven columns of cards. While each column may have a number of cards face down, the card on top of the column will be face up.
After the columns are dealt, there will be cards left over. This is the draw pile. Depending on the level’s rules, you may draw one to three cards at a time. If you are drawing more than one card at a time, you must use the top card.
To get the cards on to the foundation piles, you can organize them first by building onto your columns using alternating colors (red and black) and decreasing by card number.
If you move a card that is face up on a column, the game will automatically flip the next card at the top face up. If there are no cards left available in that column to flip up, you can only move Kings to fill up those spaces.
The game is complete once all the cards have been placed in the foundation piles.
When you are ready to start a game of solitaire in Solitaire Pets Adventure, you will need to use some of your coins or a free entry ticket. If you are low on coins, there are lots of great ways to get more for free! We also have lots of great deals on coin packages in our in-game store for purchase.
Game variations
In Solitaire Pets Adventure, we bring a unique and sometimes challenging playstyle to Klondike solitaire. We have three main types of variations that are all mixed and matched together as you play through the game.
Game modes
The game mode is the primary objective of that level of solitaire. You can review the type of game mode you will be entering by looking at the top of the entry screen, right beneath the level.
In Flips mode, you are limited to the number of times you can cycle through your draw pile.
In Moves mode, you are limited to the number of total moves you can make during the course of the game. Draw pile flips, moving cards to different columns or to the foundation piles, and adding cards to a column each count as moves.
In Blitz mode, you can make as many moves as you want but you must complete the entire game in the time limit given.
Draw types
The draw type is the number of cards you will draw each time you flip through your draw pile. You will be able to draw one, two, or three at a time.
Prior to entering a game, you will be able to see what draw type you will encounter by referring to the number displayed to the right of where the game mode type is displayed.
Layout Types
The layout of the game of solitaire refers to how the columns are arranged. In traditional Klondike, each column will increase by one card. The first column will have one, the second column will have two cards, and this continues until the last and seventh column, where there will be seven cards in total.
However, please note that you may encounter other layout variations that deviate from a traditional Klondike layout.
Leveling up
As you work your way through each map, your level will match the level of the last previous successful game of solitaire you have completed.
For example, if you complete level 187 and move on to try conquering level 188, your level in the game will be 187. Once you have complete level 188, your level will be updated to match.
Levels that have a little skull icon indicate that the level is more challenging than usual.
As you increase your level, more boosters will be unlocked.
